I don't normally do the death thing on here, but this one took me by surprise.
Tony Wilson was the hip reporter on Granada News when I was a nipper, and one of my sisters had a bit of a crush on him (makes mental note to e-mail her). He played a major role in promoting music from the North-West and so I can safely say that he will be sadly missed.
